Four injured, including boy, 8, in crash on I-99 that killed Cherry Tree man
UPDATE | Bedford County, PA (WJAC) — State police in Bedford County have released new details about the cause of Monday's fatal crash on Interstate 99 in East Saint Clair Township.
Troopers say the crash claimed the life of 38-year-old Kevin Kutzler Jr., of Cherry Tree, and also sent four others to the hospital, including Kutzler's 8-year-old passenger.
Investigators say the crash occurred around 5:20 a.m. near the 4.7 northbound mile marker, according to thecrash report.
Shots fired inside Lehigh Valley Mall, no injuries reported
WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. (AP) — Police say shots were fired inside Lehigh Valley Mall but no victims have been found. Whitehall Township Police responded to the Saturday afternoon shooting shortly before 5 p.m. Hours later, authorities said they were still searching the mall. Whitehall Township Police Chief Michael Marks say no arrest have been made. An Allentown man said he heard four of five gunshots before people started to race toward the exits.
Somerset market ownership passed on to next generation
After more than 40 years of owning Roof Garden Market in Somerset, Brian S. Costea has decided to retire.
Now, he is passing the ownership onto the next generation.
Costea and his wife bought the store in May of 1979. Since then, lots of changes have been made.
One of the biggest changes is happening now, changing ownership over to his son, also named Brian.

Altoona man accused of raping, assaulting & violating woman during argument
Altoona, PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Altoona Police Department say a Blair County man is behind bars after he was accused of physically and sexually assaulting a woman over the weekend.
According to the affidavit, police say the woman told officers that she and 20-year-old Aaron Foster had allegedly attended a party on Saturday night and that Foster reportedly became "upset" with her because she had "touched another man's arm.
Game Commission hosts game warden training camp for kids
CENTRE CO., Pa. (WJAC) — The Pennsylvania Game Commission gave youngsters an opportunity Thursday to learn about becoming game wardens.
When we think of career days for kids, jobs like police officer, firefighter, and doctor usually come to mind. And so, the Game Commission wants to expose kids to the life of a game warden, especially out in the wild.

UPDATE |CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Copies of search warrants obtained by 6 News are providing new details about the state police investigation into alleged thefts from the Pennsylvania Lottery Commission in Blair and Centre Counties.
Investigators say, on Wednesday, troopers searched a residence along West Blade Drive, in PA Furnace, Ferguson Township, where they reportedly seized "large amounts" of U.S. currency and a cell phone in connection to the alleged theft investigation.
West-central Pennsylvania athletes shine in PSFCA all-star game
ALTOONA — It is almost never a bad time to play a high school football game.
The Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association hosted its 18th annual East West All-Star Game.
A handful of west-central Pennsylvania athletes helped the West team defeat the East team, 41-35.
