Lance Ross, the former owner of The Freight Station bar in Johnstown, was found "violently assaulted" inside of his own establishment in February according to the Cambria County Coroner.
About two months later the community is left with more questions than answers, as an arrest has yet to be made.
Today people gathered at the bar to celebrate the life of Ross and The Freight Station one final time before the building is put up for sale.
Local father spurs suicide awareness after stepson's tragic loss
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — One local father is letting teens know that there is always help.
P.J. Shell says his stepson, Maverick Baker, took his own life back in February.
Baker was a hockey player for the Bishop McCort Crushers.
His stepdad speaking with students at Richland High School about suicide awareness.
The program is called “Maverick's Mission” and shines light on stressers that can impact a teen's mental health.
No one injured in Northern Cambria house fire, home deemed a total loss

NORTHERN CAMBRIA, Pa (WJAC) — A Cambria County home is a total loss after a house fire Sunday morning in Susquehanna Township.
Hope Fire Company First Assistant Chief Pete Barczak says crews first responded to the home on Sheredy Drive in Susquehanna Township early Sunday morning.
He says when they arrived, they found a small fire in the basement wall on the right side of the home.
Hours later, crews were called back to the address.
Police identify woman accused of trying to burn down Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birth h
ATLANTA (TND) — The woman accused of trying to set the Georgia birthplace of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on fire has been identified.
The Atlanta Police Department said in a news release that Laneisha Shantrice Henderson, 26, was arrested and charged with attempted arson in the second degree and interfering with government property. Henderson was taken to Grady Detention for evaluation and will be transported to the Fulton County Jail.
Police investigating hit-and-run in Hastings Borough, woman seriously injured
Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Hastings Borough Police Department are investigating an alleged hit-and-run incident that left a woman seriously injured.
Police say the crash reportedly occurred just after 6 p.m. Monday evening in the area of Miller Street and Rich Hill Street.
Investigators say the female victim was reportedly struck by a vehicle, and the driver then fled the scene.
Police say the woman suffered serious injuries and had to be flown to a hospital in Pittsburgh.
Rhode Island couple narrowly escapes injury as lightning strikes home during storm

The couple who lives there said they were just feet away when the bolt came through the kitchen window.

Clearfield County Drug Court now operating
CLEARFIELD, Pa (WJAC) — According to a press release from the Clearfield County District Attorney's office, DA William Shaw announced Wednesday that the Clearfield County Drug Court is now officially in operation.
The Drug Court is comprised of service providers, probation officers, jail personnel and other representatives who will work together to identify first time drug offenders and divert them to programs and services designed to prevent further drug use and related behavior.

Raul Rielo-Fernandez, 42, was arrested and accused of leaving his daughter in the backseat of his parked SUV without the engine running to go shopping. It was a scorching hot day, police said.

PennDOT lifts travel some restrictions on I-70, parts of I-99
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — UPDATE:
PennDOT has lifted some travel restrictions on Interstate 70 and the south/central part of Interstate 99 that were put in place due to the overnight ice storm affecting much of Pennsylvania.
The speed limit has also been restored for the south/central portion of I-99.
