ESBJERG, Denmark (TND) — Semi-pro darts player Deta Hedman forfeited a match at the Denmark Open darts competition Saturday after being matched with a transgender opponent.
Hedman took to X before the competition to share her support of defending women’s athletics.
“People on FB been changing their profile pic to this,” Hedman noted of an image reading “protect women’s sports.”
“Getting great support,” she added.At the competition, Hedman was set to face openly transgender player Noa-Lynn van Leuve in the quarterfinals, according to Live Darts.
3 injured in Jackson Township crash believed to be weather related
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Crews were called to a crash in Jackson Township.
Authorities believe the two-vehicle crash on Route 22 is weather-related.
The eastbound lanes in that area are closed.

3.2 million trout being stocked across PA as anglers gear up for statewide opening day
CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — It was a great day to get outside Monday and with Pennsylvania’s trout fishing season opening soon, millions of trout are now being added, at numerous state waterway sites.

A new bill would cut Pennsylvania’s liquid fuels tax and provide a little relief at the gas pump for drivers.
Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman (R-Bellefonte) introduced Senate Bill 10, or the Consumer Gas Prices Relief Act, Monday.
The bill would slash the state’s gas tax by one-third through the end of the year.
To make sure critical infrastructure projects aren’t delayed due to the cut, the lost revenue would be replaced by a mix of federal funds and a bond issue.

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. — Two people are facing felony charges after hiding a wanted fugitive in the attic of a residence in Somerset Thursday morning, state police say.
According to a press release, state police were attempting to serve a warrant for Kody Dunmeyer on the 300 block of Lavansville Road in Somerset when he was located hiding in the attic of the home.
State police Rusty Koval, 35, and Tiffany Weimer, 34, were the only two individuals located on the second floor of the home when they discovered Dunmeyer.
