Flight crew member dead, identified after turnpike plane crash in York Co.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — UPDATE | A flight crew member is dead after the plane crash Wednesday according to the FAA. Dauphin County officials have identified the member as 74-year-old Lawrence Sager. Officials say Sager died of multiple traumatic injuries. Sager died at UPMC Harrisburg at 4:52 p.m. Wednesday. UPDATE | PennDOT says all ramps from Interstate 83 to the Turnpike have now reopened. DUNCANSVILLE, Pa. (WJAC) — A Blair County man is behind bars after being charged with setting a fire that heavily damaged an auto service shop in Duncansville late Monday night, police say. Although not much damage is visible from the front of the building, Jeremy Nagle, Operations Manager at Blue Knob Auto Service says inside and around the back is severely damaged. The final 9/11 Ride

A tribute called America’s 9/11 Ride was designed to remember the survivors and victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The motorcycle ride commemorates the passengers and crew members from the United 93 flight for their acts of courage and first responders who were killed. Over of the course of two days, riders traveled across six states. The ride started in Shanksville, went past the Flight 93 memorial to the Pentagon in Virginia and finished at the Freedom Tower in New York.

1 fraternity brother dead, 1 arrested after fight

INDIANA -- Authorities say one of two fraternity brothers involved in a fight near their central Pennsylvania university campus later died, and the other member was arrested on an assault charge. Indiana Borough police allege that 20-year-old Caleb Zweig was choked during the altercation just after 11 p.m. Friday near the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus. Police said the Rockville, Maryland man later died at Indiana Regional Medical Center. The coroner is awaiting results of toxicology and other tests.

Sam Childers, also known as the machine gun preacher, is the guest speaker and says the cook-off is being held at "3 C’s Church" in Central City. He stresses that anyone can enter, but you don’t have to make chili to come enjoy a free meal. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin resumes duty after undergoing procedure at Walter Reed

WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin underwent a medical procedure at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Friday evening and has resumed duty after temporarily transferring power to his deputy, Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said in a statement. Austin is continuing to deal with bladder issues that arose in December following his treatment for prostate cancer, Ryder said. The procedure was successful, elective and minimally invasive, “is not related to his cancer diagnosis and has had no effect on his excellent cancer prognosis,” the press secretary said.
