Former Clearfield Co. McDonald's employee accused of raping teen coworkers
CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Clearfield County say a former employee of a local McDonald's is facing several charges following an investigation into allegations that he sexually assaulted multiple teen coworkers.
Police say last June, authorities received a report of an alleged rape involving a teenage worker and Taylor English, now age 29, of Curwensville.
Authorities say the report also mentioned a possible second victim, who was reportedly 16 at the time.

LEBANON, Pa. (WHP) — Update:
A week after the tragic shooting deaths of an eight, nine and 19-year-old in Lebanon, the search for the third suspect has come to a conclusion. Federal, state and county law enforcement arrested Ivan Claudio Rosero and charged him with homicide.
“I wanted to come in this morning and celebrate, we got him. But i can't. because two children and one teenager are dead,” said Lebanon Mayor Sherry Capello.
New Cambria Co. bar restaurant honors first responders and military
NANTY GLO, Pa. (WJAC) — There's a new bar restaurant in Nanty Glo.
Its theme -- first responders and military.
Heroes Tavern on McCoy Street opened its doors in December.
It was originally known as the Little Wheel Tavern.
Inside the restaurant there's an honor wall, with pictures of first responders.
Owner Billy Ray is the mayor of Nanty Glo and also worked 25 years for the state police.
He says he wanted to have a restaurant that would honor the men and women who help protect our country.
5 area McDonald's reportedly violated child labor laws, Dept. of Labor says
Officials with the US Department of Labor are reporting that an area McDonald's franchisee has reportedly violated multiple child labor laws.
Authorities say an investigation revealed that Endor Inc., based in Cranberry Township, allegedly employed 34 juveniles, across five locations, and forced them to work longer and later hours than permitted by child labor laws.
“Fast food restaurants offer young workers an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, but federal law makes sure their experiences do not come at the expense of their education or well-being,” explained Wage and Hour Division District Director John DuMont in Pittsburgh.

Dubois Area SD Plans to Help Homeless Students with Grant Money
DUBOIS, Pa. (WJAC) — The American Rescue Plan injected some much-needed money to all the states, especially for education.
Dubois Area School District announced that it plans to direct some of that grant money toward assisting their homeless students.
A Dubois Area principal told us there are about 70 homeless students in the school district.
And with $51,000 in grant money, they plan to give these students a helping hand over the next three years.
Flooding due to mine drainage prompts closure of Franklin Street; DEP investigating
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Franklin Street in Johnstown was closed for several hours Saturday by the Johnstown Fire Department due to flooding.
6 News crews at the scene were told by a fire department official that the flooding was caused by mine drainage.
Officials also said the Department of Environmental Protection will be visiting the location to investigate.

Slovakia's prime minister wounded in attack while meeting with supporters
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia (AP) — Slovakia's populist Prime Minister Robert Fico was wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon and taken to hospital.
Reports on TA3, a Slovakian TV station, said that Fico, 59, was hit in the stomach after four shots were fired outside the House of Culture in the town of Handlova, some 150 kilometers northeast of the capital, where the leader was meeting with supporters. A suspect has been detained, it said.
